National ONLINE WEBINATTER – RESPECTfully yours
For this month’s Webi-Natter, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Philip Lodge, a specialist consultant in palliative medicine with over 20 years of experience in both hospital and community settings. Dr. Lodge will discuss the emotional and practical aspects of making your wishes known, focusing on what matters most to you and how to ensure this is respected.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to register separately for each online meeting you would like to attend.
Being diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer may change plans you have made—or have in mind—for the future. Thinking about what might happen and what your diagnosis may mean for you and those closest to you can prompt you to do the things we all know we should do but often put off for later, such as making future care decisions or drafting a will. For others, this may be too difficult to think about, and we may try to put it to the back of our minds to address later. But there may be comfort in knowing, as you get on with living, that should anything happen – your wishes have been made known and arrangements are in place to have those wishes respected.
