Neuroendocrine Cancer UK is proud to be able to provide educational initiatives through a number of forums, including patient education events and workshops, amongst many other activities.
We are therefore delighted to once again be working alongside the King’s Healthcare Partners (KHP) ENETs Centre of Excellence on their annual Patient Education Event.
Time is short as the event is only 3 weeks away: Friday October 15th from 9-11am.
Due to current circumstances the event this year will be online – however, it will, as always be interactive – with opportunity to ask questions and “Natter” with each other.
The programme will include three 10-15 minute talks by members of the specialist team followed by a Question and Answer session (where we may be joined by additional team members) . . .there will also be an opportunity to chat with others attending in a post Q&A Natter.
The event will formally start at 9am and close at 11am: the formal talks will be recorded*
- Welcome & Introductions : Nikie Jervis
- Centre of Excellence update – a confirmation of new team members, the last 18 months and looking ahead : Wendy Martin / Elmie Cananea
- Role of histopathology – a hidden but vital member of the MDT: Mojisola Giwa
- Trials & Research – now and in the pipeline: Debs Sarker
- Q&A
- Natter and Close
*Once the talks have been completed, we will turn the recording equipment off and open the floor for questions.
The event is open to all within the Neuroendocrine Cancer community and you can register for the event here.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. For those who have taken part in the zoom Natters over the past 18 months – it’s the same process as registering for your Natter.
If you have any queries about the event please contact Nikie by email: nikie@nc-uk.org – using “KHP event” as your email subject.
