Neuroendocrine Cancer UK was fortunate enough to be awarded an official place in the 2021 London Marathon and Emily represented NCUK and was awarded our charity place.
My best friends dad passed away last year from Neuroendocrine Cancer and I would love to run the London Marathon to raise awareness for this rare cancer. Robert was diagnosed really late on and it was too late and I would love to do anything I can to help other people find this type cancer early. My best friend has been incredible and so so strong. She has a place in the marathon running for her dad’s charity and it would mean the world to both of us if I could run alongside her for Neuroendocrine Cancer.
Emily successfully completed the marathon and raised £3,306.78 for Neuroendocrine Cancer research.
